About Heel Spurs & Heel Pain
Our complete collection of insoles and shoe inserts designed to add extra cushioning for your heels to help provide relief from heel spurs and heel pain.Insoles for heel spurs and heel pain typically feature a deep heel cup with thick cushioned padding and/or shock-absorbing foam or gel pads under the heel of the insole, which helps to relieve pressure from the heel and absorb impact shock. Inserts and pads come in both gel and foam varieties to help absorb shock while providing targeted cushioning for the heel.
Heel spurs are a calcium deposit that causes a bony protrusion under the heel bone, caused by strains on foot muscles and ligaments or the repeated tearing of the membrane that covers the heel bone. They are often associated with Plantar Fasciitis, where the Plantar Fascia, or the band of connective tissue that runs from the heel to the ball of the foot, is inflamed.
