What are sock liners? What are replacement insoles?
Sock liners are what you typically find inside of shoes when you buy them off the shelf: A flat, thin cushion whose primary purpose is to provide separation between your foot and the rough bottom of the inside of the shoe. They nearly always do not provide arch support, and the cushioning they provide is limited.
Replacement insoles is the general term used to describe over-the-counter insoles designed to replace these sock liners and similar insoles. While technically all full-length insoles are designed to replace your existing insole, our selection of dedicated replacement insoles are specifically designed to replace sock liners and similar types of shoe liners.
Can I buy a replacement insole with support?
Yes, and to do so we'd invite you to head over to our Arch Support Insoles page!
Having support for your foot is almost always a good idea, and we encourage you to provide your feet with the support they need in order to keep them in good shape. Many people only consider arch supports once their feet start to hurt, but arch support insoles can help prevent many common foot conditions before they even arise.
Why can't I buy an exact replacement for my shoe's sock liner?
Most brands and manufacturers do not make their factory insole/sock liner available for sale, making it very rare to be able to purchase an exact copy of the sock liner that came in your shoes originally.
We're always happy to help you find the closest match, though! Simply contact us, and include a picture of your current insole if possible.
