Full-length insoles are designed to fit from the heel of your shoe all the way to the tip of the toe of the shoe. They cover a full length of the shoe and are designed to be a complete replacement of the insole already in your shoe.
Can I wear full-length insoles with my existing shoe insole?
No. Full-length insoles are designed to replace the existing shoe insole. In most cases, using a full-length insole in addition to your existing shoe insole won’t leave enough room in the shoe for your foot.
What are the advantages of a full-length insole?
Full-length insoles offer a “complete package” in terms of foot comfort and support. They are designed with the entire foot in mind, offer a single-piece solution to support and comfort from heel to toe, and are easily fitted into your existing shoes without the need to find the proper placement of the insole.
What if the size insole I want is larger than my shoe size?
Full-length insoles often come in size ranges. For example, “Women’s 8-9.5.” If you wear a women’s size 8.5 shoe, you’d select the size “Women’s 8-9.5” insole and then would trim the insole to match the length of your shoe. More information on trimming insoles can be found on our trim-to-fit guide.
What other considerations should I take into account regarding full-length insoles?
Full-length insoles are best when you can replace the existing insole in your shoe. If the shoe you’re looking to purchase an insole for doesn’t have removable insoles, consider a ¾-length insole or insert pieces instead.
