Overview

The Birkenstock Blue Tradition Footbeds are a 3/4-length support insole that's focused on providing semi-rigid arch & metatarsal support in a slim profile. Ideal for tight-fitting shoes, shoes without removable insoles, or to add support atop a flat cushioned insole, the Blue Sport footbeds work best for those with medium to high-arched feet looking for support with minimal cushioning.

Description

Looking at the insole itself, the entire top of the insole is lined in a pale blue fabric that is 73% cotton and 27% synthetic viscose. The middle cork layer provides semi-rigid arch support and added metatarsal support through a built-in metatarsal pad at the front of the insole. Lastly, the bottom of the insole is lined in moleskin to prevent the insole from moving during wear and to protect the cork center of the insole. A support on the underside of the insole that runs from edge to edge below the base of the foot arch will provide extra support and stability.

Notes

  • This insole does not offer much in the way of cushioning. We recommend this insole for those looking for support without needing much in the way of additional cushioning.
  • This product is available in medium, wide, and narrow widths. When selecting your size, please be sure to also select the correct width.
  • Birkenstock insoles are made in Germany.

Usage:

These insoles are designed to sit on top of your existing shoe insoles. Your existing insoles and the bottom of the inside of your shoes should both be relatively flat to ensure that this product fits correctly in the shoe. No adhesive is required to prevent this product from moving around inside the shoe during wear.

Care:

Your insoles should be allowed to air dry within your shoes when not being worn. To clean your insoles, use a mild detergent and damp cloth to spot-clean any dirt. Do not submerge your insoles in water. Air dry outside of your shoes after cleaning.
