About Narrow Insoles

What are narrow insoles?

Narrow insoles are designed to ensure a proper fit of the insoles inside narrow-width shoes. These insoles are designed to be slimmer width-wise compared to a standard insole, allowing them to fit inside of a narrow-width shoe without folding or buckling on the sides when placed inside the shoes.

When should I purchase a narrow width insole?

You should purchase an insole that matches the size and width of the shoe that the insole will be used in. If your shoes are a narrow width, you should purchase a narrow insole to ensure a proper fit of the insole inside your shoe. Placing a regular-width insole inside a narrow-width shoe could cause the sides of the insole to buckle or fold when placed inside the shoe, or may result in the insole not fitting inside the shoe at all.

What if I have a narrow heel? Would a narrow insole work better for me?

The width of the insole you purchase should match your shoe width to ensure that the insole doesn’t slide around inside of the shoe. Purchasing a narrow width insole for use in a regular width shoe could result in this sliding and poor fit. If you wear medium-width shoes but have a narrow heel, we recommend purchasing a medium-width insole and adding heel grips to your shoes if you’re trying to prevent your heels from slipping out of your shoes when walking.
