The Birkenstock Star Inserts offer midfoot and metatarsal cushioning in a toe-less, heel-less shape designed to fit discretely in sandals, heels, sling backs, pumps, and other such footwear. For those looking to add arch & metatarsal cushioning without additional bulk at the heel or toes, these inserts are an excellent choice.
Description
The shape of the Star Inserts is unique in that there is no heel or toe; instead, the insert has tapered edges towards the heel and toes, allowing the inserts to be comfortably worn without feeling the edge of the insoles on either side. The tops of the inserts are finished with leather, creating a nice surface on which to rest the foot, especially when wearing thin socks, hosiery, or barefoot. The foam base of the inserts provide "squishy" foam cushioning under the arch and metatarsals, helping to alleviate pressure on the foot and absorb impact shock. An adhesive strip on the bottom of the inserts allows these inserts to be held securely in place within your footwear.
